Green Party discussion meetings on Zoom

6 May 2020

We're planning a series of discussion meetings using Zoom which we can access from home. The first will consider the Green Party's proposal for getting out of the lockdown and will be at 7pm on Wednesday 6th May.

We’re all anxious to get out of the current Covid-19 lockdown but we realise that it’s risky until the proper preparations are in place. So far the government’s performance has been at best erratic. The Green Party has published a plan for a Community Shield on Caroline Lucas’s website which you may want to read before the meeting. We will be discussing this and trying to see how to promote it in our constituencies.

Our next discussion on 20th May will be about what is going on in the Windsor & Maidenhead Climate Emergency Coalition and will include Nicola Davidson of MaidEnergy and other Coalition members.

If you would like to propose a topic for discussion at a future meeting, do reply to this email with your suggestion. If you want some help connecting, do ask one of us.

A proper Zoom invitation has been sent to all members by email. If you can't find it, have a look in your spam folder. The introduction may be downloaded here.
